Short answer: Mamashi uses only two necessary cookies: one remembers your language, and one remembers your choice in the cookie notice. The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
The site is operated by Amudei Tevel Management and Project Initiation Ltd.. Questions: getmamashi@gmail.com.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser to remember something between pages or visits.
The cookies the site uses
| Name | Purpose | How long | Set by | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pll_language | Remembers whether you chose Hebrew or English | 1 year | The site (Polylang plugin) | Necessary |
| mm_consent | Remembers your choice in the cookie notice (analytics and marketing: yes or no), so we don’t ask on every page | 180 days | The site (Mamashi theme) | Necessary |
Both cookies are the site’s own (first party). They are not sent to anyone else and are not used for tracking or advertising.
What we checked
We checked the site on 18 October 2026: the home page, articles, guides, AI News and the weekly digests, the videos page (including playback), and sending the question form. Apart from the two cookies above:
- The question form sets no cookies.
- AI News and its company filter store nothing in your browser.
- Videos are hosted on the site itself. Nothing is embedded from YouTube or TikTok.
- Fonts load from the site itself, not from Google Fonts or any other service.
- The site stores nothing in localStorage or sessionStorage and loads no scripts from third-party services.
Analytics and marketing
The site has no analytics or marketing tools right now, so there are no such cookies. The “Cookie settings” dialog has these two options, off by default, so that if we add such a tool in the future it loads only for people who allowed it. If that happens, we will update this page and ask you again.
Changing your choice
Use the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page to change your choice at any time. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you delete mm_consent, the cookie notice will appear again.
Site administrators
People who log in to the site’s admin (WordPress) get WordPress login cookies. Visitors don’t log in and don’t get them.
